I mean glasses and bookworms go hand in hand. So I think we have enough anecdotal evidence to turn some of this correlation into causation. Reading outside helps as opposed to reading inside.

I suspect that the new eye will only work if was connected to the already working eyes nerve either that or resetting the impulse frequency the nerve previously had idk much about it but i do know we all have different frequencies through our bodys that gives us our functions and thats one thing thats always hard to understand how the said function is restored in any retorsored or transplanted part doesn't have to be a limb also not all actually restore functions just like prostecis but they do improve quality if implementation is right

Ocular rosacea?

I saw this video months ago and revisited it today to make sure my original opinion that both these drugs although going in the right direction are not improving the progression if the disease. Frankly I believe I'm doing more going with a low carb Keto to virtually no carbs or sugar Carnivore diet. Besides the other health benefits I'm enjoying i am holding steady with my dry Macular Degeneration. My diet plus AREDS vitamin supplement is the best treatment for me. This is a personal decision but injections, not to mention the cost every month for dry that only 10 to 15% goes wet is not worth only a 20% or less reduction. I get examined in two months and if my memory is still working I'll report back if my dry has progressed or continued to be stable. Good luck to all.

My dad went through 2 yrs of painful injections to supposedly help his macular degeneration - Avastin only left him with permanent scarring.. which the scareing from reaction to Avastin ledt my dad blind …. Now what can we do???

It fascinates me that one can train one's eyes like a muscle or like a brain circuit. Now I wonder if glasses or other artificial remedies might make one dependent. I've also read about an important role vitamin D played for the eyes. Given that one produces previtamin D in the skin when ultraviolet light hits the latter, this will certainly have to be added as a reason why time spent outdoors is that helpful.

I suddenly see red , light green , and orange very vivid , as it has been badly photoshoped. I can pass all the color tests with 10/10 and field tests also. All the other colors seem to be normal , pupilloscopy was normal , the doctor said just to correct my glasses as they are a little bit off . I am 100% sure that this is something that has to do with the brain or the optic nerve , as it seems to be something rare , does anybody have any clue about it ?

What can adult do to slow down myopia progress? As someone who have high myopia, I have been going through multiple doctor most of them saying its genetic and there's nothing I could do. My work and life rely heavily on sight. I just don't know what to do if I'm going blind. I'm in my late 20 and my myopia is still progressing and have been diagnosed with occular hypetension too.

I get them from head injuries Ive had through the years. BUT foods trigger them for me. Smoked meat, aged cheese, depends, so I really try to not eat foods that cause them. Each one still scares, idk if you ever get used to having them. Usually mine happen left eye, occasionally right eye. Since a kid I have a dark dot, it is sheer and I only notice it when I bring it up. Almost like I can see my pupil in front of my vision. Its weird. I had a knock out grade 4 concussion when I was around 4 years old.

You have to not overdo things, watch your water intake, physical exhaustion and heat exposure from day to day. Im a body builder and it sucks but theres a sweet slot for every individual regardless of what you do. 👍

I started having problems about two years after I got a heart stent, has anyone done any studies about if heart stent implants can changed the way the heart beats and therefore changes how the blood flow goes to the body and the eyes, could this be the reason for this? Because my heart stent changed the way my heart flows blood to the body and therefore my eyes and my brain, properly functioning heart stents or improperly implanted heart stents could be the cause of AMD
